Anthony Albanese and Labor have swept for a second term with a large majority and an even greater mandate.
This means that every promise the prime minister, his front benchers and Labor’s latest members of the House of Representatives made during the budget and the campaign can now be regarded as a delivery.

Tax cuts
Labor will introduce tax cuts worth $ 268 next year and $ 536 for each year after that, in an attempt to deliver living expenses to more than 12 million workers. The tax cuts, which were announced in Marsbudet, give households extra relief on top of the changes in tax cuts that were announced in early 2024. Renewable energy
Albanese government wants 82 percent of Australia’s electricity to come from renewable sources – Solar, wind, hydro – and have a series of funds and projects to get there. Households that install home electrical batteries with the roof solar panels receive a 30 percent discount, subject to a series of conditions and eligibility rules

Environment
The work has promised to introduce a Federal Environmental Protection Agency to take on companies and people who violate the law and harm the natural world. Albanese put EPA on ice during its first term after an industry recurrence and has said that the agency would now take a different form.
When? This parliament period.
Defense and national security
The labor force will increase defense spending from 2 percent of gross domestic product to 2.3 percent. It will also work to get the port of Darwin sold to an Australian owner-it is currently rented to the Chinese owned company Landbridge Group and can put it in the government’s hands if it fails.
When? Defense spending will increase in the early 2030s. No timeline for port planes.
Immigration
The workforce has predicted that Nettoutland migration will slow to 260,000 people next financial year. It failed to legislate student caps in 2024 and introduced administrative changes to reduce migration instead. The party will raise already expensive international student fees by $ 400.

Training
A ten -year agreement with states to increase financing to public schools that are bound to reforms to help students raise their performance and improve the degree of school. Student loan debt will be reduced by 20 percent in a $ 16 billion bid to make higher education cheaper for 3 million people. Three days a week with subsidized childhood education.
