Furness further said that she “gained a lot of knowledge and wisdom through this experience”.

“It’s so easy to get lost in looking for love and validation beyond ourselves, but that’s not where it lives – it lives inside. Sometimes the universe must create difficult circumstances to walk through to find our way home, back to our true being and the sovereignty of self -love.

The couple met in 1995 while working on the ABC TV prison drama Correlliin which Jackman played a prisoner and Furness – a much bigger star at the time – played a prison psychologist.
