I first learned from Pura from a friend whose home always smelled like a high boutique under all circumstances. Cooking project, water leakage … No matter what was going on in her home at the time, I just ever smelled berries. I have two cats and a multi-sports-play-two-I knew I needed it. Now, about 14 months to my Pura journey, I have some thoughts.
Although most of my time was at the now ended Pura 3, I have also used the Pura 4 and the new large room Pura Plus since then, all of which have double bays for two of Pura’s own oil patterns. The Pura 3 and 4 both include an outlet and can only be controlled by the accompanying app (or Alexa or Google Home). It is convenient to introduce schedules and timers, change scents and change the color of the optional night light, but there were also many opportunities where I wanted to stop or start a schedule, but could not do it because I forgot my password or the distributor couldn’t connect to Wi-Fi. At the moment it was disturbing. The independent, cylindrical Pura Plus has mercifully manual control buttons on the front. The smaller Pura 4 is really best for closed spaces, such as a long entrance or bedroom (note that both only work with 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi). If you have high ceilings or any form of an open floor plan, you get better results from the Pura Plus. Just note that the plus, unlike the Pacific Pura 4, emits an audible sound that is actually pretty hard – 32 decibel, as hard as a fan on layer.
Another disappointing function is the extremely varied quality under pattern brands. I have experienced undetectable scents, disk stickers who have loosened or registered the wrong flavor (the distributors automatically scan the chips to show the flavors in the app), and scale sheets are held to the necessary pliers. Since the Cartridges have $ 11 to $ 17 for 0.33 ounces, I believe this should not happen. That said, Pura is known for its clean, luxurious oils that are safe for pets and families, and deliver it. There is an extensive range of seasonal and annual cartridges from companies such as Nest, Anthropology and Capri Blue, and I loved everyone, but maybe one of the dozen or so I tried. Because of the small size and price of the cartridges, Pura may not be the best choice if you want to smell the distributor every day, every day, because you will eventually spend a small fortune. However, if you like unique luxurious scents and just need it sometimes and/or on request, Pura is the way to go. —Kat Merck
